Can I bring my own food and drinks?
Yes! You are more than welcome to bring your own food and drinks on board.

For yachts equipped with a full-size kitchen, we also offer private chef services to elevate your dining experience. Additional fees apply.
Will we see dolphins or whales?
While we can’t guarantee dolphin or whale sightings, dolphins are very common in the waters off Southern California, and there's a good chance you'll spot them during your trip.

For whale watching, the best time is during migration season from December to April, when whales travel closer to shore—especially near Zuma Beach. Let us know if you're interested in a wildlife-focused experience, and we'll help plan the best route!
Do you offer any overnight cruises to Catalina?
Yes! We offer overnight and multi-day cruises to Catalina Island on larger yachts that are fully equipped to accommodate overnight guests.
What is the best time to leave for a trip to Catalina?
We highly recommend departing early in the morning, around 7 to 8 a.m. During this time, the ocean is typically calmer, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable trip.
How many people can I bring on a yacht?
Yacht capacity depends on the size of the vessel. Smaller yachts may accommodate up to 6 guests (including yourself), while larger yachts can host up to 13 guests, in compliance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations (Charterer + 12 guests).

However, if you're planning a larger event, we also partner with commercial vessels that can accommodate up to 300 guests. Let us know your needs, and we’ll find the perfect option for you!
Do you offer multi-day cruises?
Yes! If you book a larger yacht, you can arrange a multi-day cruise with special weekly rates.

We also offer exclusive weekly cruises in various cities around the world.
What happens after I submit a booking?
You'll receive an automated email immediately after booking; within 24 hours, you should receive a second email that confirms the booking's details. This gives us time to arrange for the crew for your cruise. The second email will contain information about instructions, parking, the captain's contact number, and other vital details. Please be sure you read it carefully.
When is the best time to go on a charter cruise?
Morning cruises are typically the calmest, with the best ocean conditions and the least amount of wind. Afternoon cruises tend to be warmer and possibly windier; sunset cruises have the best views.

Wow! Where do I start! My first contact with UNIQ was with the lovely Regina. I say lovely because she explains everything so well. She is very patient , especially with me I was a first time Charter booking person. She made it so seamless and easy. Even once booked she was available at all times for any question or concern I would have, and I had a lot. Babies, kids, older people, parking ... I had a lot to ask her about ! Day or night she responded.

We choose the Leight Star as to us it was the largest and so impressive. We went to see the boat and Mario showed us around. Mario is with the crew and has been for years - his enthusiasm and friendliness was a real testament for me. The boat is so spacious , modern, just lovely ! The boat is kept extremely clean, this was very important to us.

There are soooo many different areas to lounge in. Indoor or outdoor you and your guests will feel you are in your own magical world. And so much space each guest can be in their very own space if that's what they want.

Now for the day of. We had direct contact with Captain Bob who is beyond generous with his time in explaining things. It is so evident he loves what he does, and he genuinely wants all on board to have a good time.

We had kids of board which I'm sure some may frown upon, as it's more work for sure. However Captian Bob was so happy to have kids, mentioning how great it is to expose these little young minds to the sea.

The crew is unbelievable. Vicky and Anna gave us such a warm welcome and went above and beyond to make sure all were comfortable and safe throughout our journey.

David and Mario were also on deck they were so helpful, and made us felt at ease at all times. Even when we had a bit of stronger currents, they were right there !

We went with the companies recommendation for the Chef and Katheryne didn't disappoint. We planned the menu a few weeks in advance. I actually wasn't expecting too much but we were blown away! The dishes, the flavors , wow wow wow! I think some people had the best tacos of their life on board , and also the best steak too. We had a few food restrictions and allergies and she was very accommodating. Everything was so delicious , and fresh, and of high quality.

The actual charter was so lovely. It was a great time and the memories formed will last a lifetime. The family and friends we treated to this experience are STILL talking about it. I don't think they will ever stop.

We enjoyed it so much that we booked for the next weekend AND and we have another planned too.

The captain and crew treat the boat as if it's their own home, it's so obvious it's such a well cared for environment.

My family will charter this boat a few times a year from now on. My only regret... living in town for so long, why hadn't we done this sooner ?!
